Terms of use

Effective Date: November 1, 2025

This Terms of Use Agreement ("Agreement") governs your access and use of the Plox Games application (the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.

1. Eligibility:

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

2. Account Creation:

You may create an account on the App by providing us with certain information, such as your email address and name. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3. User Content:

You may submit information and content to the App ("User Content"). You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. However, by submitting User Content to the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such User Content in connection with the App and our business. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to grant us the licenses described in this section.

4. Prohibited Uses:

You agree not to use the App for any purpose that is unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations.

  • Infringing on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.

  • Posting or transmitting any content that is hateful, discriminatory, threatening, or obscene.

  • Spamming or otherwise interfering with the enjoyment of the App by other users.

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.

5. Data Collection and Use:

We collect certain information about your use of the App, including anonymous usage data through Google Analytics and account information if you create an account. We use this information to improve the App's functionality and user experience. You can learn more about our data collection practices in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property:

The App, its original content, and all logos, trademarks, designs, and images are the property of Plox Games or our licensors. Additionally, the App may utilize information and materials from third-party services such as IGDB and Steam ("Third-Party Data"). While we have permission to use this Third-Party Data within the App, ownership of such data remains with the respective third-party service providers. You may not use any intellectual property of Plox Games or the Third-Party Data without our or their prior written permission, respectively.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties:

The App is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability:

We will not be liable for any damages arising out of your use of the App, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, and punitive damages.

9. Termination:

We may terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. We may also remove any User Content that violates this Agreement.

10. Governing Law:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

11. Entire Agreement:

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App. Any prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, or understandings are superseded by this Agreement.
